Book publishing giant Random House has a specialized one year, entry-level training program called the Associates Program. The training program introduces college graduates to the many departments that Random House has. Trainees rotate from one department to the next and learn about the functions of each and also get participate in lunch time seminars where they listen to speakers who are at the top of their game at Random House. When the program is finished the trainee is able to apply to an area of Random House that they have an interest in.
